However, remote work turned out to have significant advantages \u2014 many professionals now are satisfied with working from home full time.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To make your home office as convenient as possible, at least you need to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Create a dedicated workspace;<\/li><li>Buy a comfortable chair, mouse and keyboard;<\/li><li>Provide high-speed internet connection;<\/li><li>Provide proper lighting;<\/li><li>and so on.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>However, mature WFH professionals have a lot to add to the list. Today we\u2019re here to get recommendations from them on how to set up a productive home office. It&#8217;s also located near a window with a good view but not right in front of it to keep my temperature regulated and comfortable while also separating myself from direct outside distractions.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I keep my power strip on top so it&#8217;s easy to reach and use all my devices easily like my drawing tablet, computer, and camera for recording. I\u2019ve made a rule for myself to ditch my PJs and get into work clothes before starting to work, this has really helped me get into the feels and be more productive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. I keep my water bottle and a few snacks around me because staying hydrated is important and a little munching hurts nobody.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. I use the Google Workspace for everything but still I keep a notepad and pen handy to jot down anything.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4. It is very important to regularly clean your workspace in order to keep yourself motivated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You just need to experiment with your work-from-home space and notice what works the best for you. So it\u2019s crucial to set clear boundaries. Make sure everyone in your house knows that when you enter that dedicated workspace, they can\u2019t disturb you.
